Dr Roxanna Holdsworth is a Women and Girl’s Initiative Advisor at Sport Waikato, facilitating their targeted women and girls initiative, This is ME®. Prior to this, Roxanna worked across the University of Waikato in teaching, research, and curriculum design positions. Roxanna holds a PhD from the University of Waikato and her thesis specifically focused on women’s experiences of navigating the constraints of choice and an ingrained narrative of progression in Aotearoa, New Zealand
